Ingredients

  • 16.3 oz can of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 egg
  • Coarse salt

Instructions

  1. Combine water and baking soda. Bring water/baking soda mix to a boil in a medium size pot, then immediately reduce to a simmer
  2. Remove biscuit dough from can and cut into thirds. Pinch each piece of dough into a ball
  3. Using a slotted spoon, drop biscuit dough balls into the simmering water for 1 minute then remove and place on a prepared baking sheet
  4. Beat the egg and place in a small bowl. Brush the dough balls with egg wash then sprinkle with coarse salt
  5. Bake at 350 for around 12-14 minutes or until golden brown
