  • 15 oz can sliced peaches
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar (divided)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Sprinkle of salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 350. Prepare an 8"x8" or 9"x9" baking dish.
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, 2/3 cup of sugar, and sprinkle of salt in a mixing bowl. Stir until combined, then add in milk and the egg.
  3. Pour the melted butter into your baking dish. Then, add your batter mixture. Don't mix it!!
  4. Drain the peaches then place them in a bowl. Add the vanilla and cinnamon and stir around. Then, add the peaches to the baking dish on top of the batter. Don't mix it!!
  5. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top of the peaches.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, then broil for 2 minutes. Watch closely so it doesn't burn!
  7. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
